Hey all!

It’s been a while since there’s been a post on the blogs section, so I thought might as well post a update, a blog, a note, a whatever you want to call it, and get you into the world of Cooked TV and what’s going on!

EPISODE 6

Our most recent episode, entitled “Desperado” has completed filming and majority of editing has been complete. We tried very hard to get the episode released before Anthony went away to Europe, but unfortunately we couldn’t just get there with our busy life schedules holding us up (editing is a pain!) But not to worry, we are pushing for a end of August-Start of September release, and mind you, you thought the other episodes were good, wait till this one’s out, it will truly blow you away! (Fans from the hit movie “Desperado” will love this episode!…oh and of course, lovers of Mexican food!) :D

NEW IDEAS & EPISODE 7

On other news, plans and ideas for the next Cooked TV Episode have begun recently as I’ve been putting pen to paper (hand to keyboard?) most nights coming up with new and fresh ideas for you fans! We’ve received a lot of ideas on what episodes to do, and we have taken them into account. I cant exactly give away any possible spoilers, but lets just say, things will get a lot more horrific in the kitchen in this one and a certain “someone” likes to play a very serious game with myself & Anthony.

OTHER NEWS

We are currently designing and will be getting new merchandise for the show so keep your eyes out for the new gear we have coming. Our latest new shirt is our famously “Have you COOKED it? t-shirt, and that should be hitting the store very soon. While your waiting for the new gear, hop on over to our online store and grab yourself some t-shirts, jumpers, stickers and whatever else your eyes like! The more people know about Cooked, the bigger Perth comedy can get!

Remember to send your ideas and fan mail to fans@cooked.tv and we will make sure to get your mail read on the show!

From myself and the Cooked TV team, till next time…stay COOKED!

P.S: Just for the confusion of some, the episode “Cooking with Francesco” is NOT episode 6 as originally posted. This episode will be released later on as a side episode, with “Desperado” being the proper Episode 6 in the Cooked TV season 1.

Wow! What a stressful weekend that was! Two full days of filming with a cast of 8 people. A lot of mistakes were made of course, but let’s hope it turns out good. Onto the editing now, trying to aim for a release at the end of this week.

It’s been 3 months since our last episode, and we’re finally cranking out another one. This is gonna be a big one. We’ve got several people involved and it’s going to eat up our entire weekend. This episodes theme is Mexican, and we aim to make it our funniest episode yet. We won’t share what meals we’ll be cooking or what drinks we’ll be pouring just yet, but what I can say is that we’re finally going to be reading our emails! Yes….we have been getting emails, but forgot to read them out. The ones that we select to read out on the show will be getting some nice prizes also :)

This episode will be expected to release late next week, so stay tuned folks!

Until next time,

Stay Cooked!

For those of you who thought it would never happen….think again. Cooked TV has officially made it to the new WA community TV channel, West TV. Carlos and I personally walked into their office in the city along with our episodes on DVD and presented our show to them. Due to our episodes all being different lengths and not confirming to their official standards, they couldn’t give us a specific timeslot, but this is good! They agreed to use our show as a filler for when they have nothing else to broadcast. This means that they broadcast our show, for free, at all random times, and they just keep repeating episodes which means more exposure for us.

Here’s how the TV guide looked:

As we keep making more episodes, we will keep submitting it to West TV. It was very exciting to see ourselves on there, even though it was just a local channel and there aren’t that many viewers! But who would have thought we would make it this far with no film experience or much time and money invested.

We owe this to the response from our viewers, without you, we wouldn’t have made it this far!
